Change the Default Text Properties

Do the following:
  1. Click the Default Text Properties button to open the Default Text Properties dialog box.
  2. Set options in the Default Text Properties dialog box.
  3. Click OK.

Add Text

Do the following:
  1. Click the Add Text button on the toolbar.
  2. Click on the document, where you want to add the text element, the Text Properties dialog box opens.
  3. Enter text in the text input box.
  4. Click OK.

Change or Customize a Text Element

Do the following:
  1. Open the Text Properties dialog box, do one of the following to open it:
    • Double-click on the text element.
    • Right-click on the text element, then choose Properties from the menu.
    • Select the text element, then click the Properties button on the toolbar.
    • Select the text element, then press the Enter key on your keyboard.
  2. Set options in the Text Properties dialog box.
  3. Click OK.

Move a Text Element

Do one of the following:
  1. Method 1:
    1. Click on the text element you want to move (hold down the mouse button).
    2. Drag the text element to the new position.
    3. Release the mouse button.
     
  2. Method 2:
    1. Select the text element, then use the keyboard arrow keys.
      (Hold down the Shift key while pressing an arrow key to move faster.)

 

Rotate a Text Element

Do one of the following:
  1. Method 1:
    1. Select the text element.
    2. Click and drag the rotate handle to rotate the text element (hold down the mouse button).

    3. Release the mouse button.
     
  2. Method 2:
    1. Open the Text Properties dialog box.
    2. Select the Text tab.
    3. Enter the new value in the Rotation text box.
    4. Click OK.

Delete a Text Element

Do one of the following:
  • Right-click on the text element, then choose Delete Selection from the menu.
  • Select the text element, then click the Delete button on the toolbar.
  • Select the text element, then press the Delete key on your keyboard.
