Text
Change the Default Text Properties
Do the following:
- Click the Default Text Properties button to open the Default Text Properties dialog box.
- Set options in the Default Text Properties dialog box.
- Click OK.

Add Text
Do the following:
- Click the Add Text button on the toolbar.
- Click on the document, where you want to add the text element, the Text Properties dialog box opens.
- Enter text in the text input box.
- Click OK.

Change or Customize a Text Element
Do the following:
- Open the Text Properties dialog box, do one of the following to open it:
- Double-click on the text element.
- Right-click on the text element, then choose Properties from the menu.
- Select the text element, then click the Properties button on the toolbar.
- Select the text element, then press the Enter key on your keyboard.
- Set options in the Text Properties dialog box.
- Click OK.

Move a Text Element
Do one of the following:

Method 1:
- Click on the text element you want to move (hold down the mouse button).
- Drag the text element to the new position.
- Release the mouse button.

Method 2:
- Select the text element, then use the keyboard arrow keys.
(Hold down the Shift key while pressing an arrow key to move faster.)
Rotate a Text Element
Do one of the following:

Method 1:
- Select the text element.
- Click and drag the rotate handle to rotate the text element (hold down the mouse button).
- Release the mouse button.

Method 2:
- Open the Text Properties dialog box.
- Select the Text tab.
- Enter the new value in the Rotation text box.
- Click OK.

Delete a Text Element
Do one of the following:
- Right-click on the text element, then choose Delete Selection from the menu.
- Select the text element, then click the Delete button on the toolbar.
- Select the text element, then press the Delete key on your keyboard.
